Tracy Conover live at The Rythm Room in Houston and live at Bogangles in Clear Lake, TX, 6.11.2005.

Wow, What a day it was! I left Dallas early Saturday morning (getting up was the hardest part) for Houston, Tracy was playing at the Rythm Room on Washington Street at 3pm and was being broadcasted live on KPFT 90.1 FM. I got there in time for the soundcheck and the show was excellent. Tracy knowing she was on the radio mostly played her own tunes with only 2 covers: Thrill is gone and Goin' Down. All seemed to go well except that unfortunately when tracy was about to start the first solo of "the thrill is gone" her guitar cord got disconnected and that was unfortunate for a live broadcast, other than that all went very well, What an intense performance!

Then after They were done, Tracy and her band took their stuff off the stage for the next band but this next band never showed up except for the leader: Archie Bell. So Tracy & Co. were asked to fill in for the band and they did so, that was unexpected and very cool. Archie Bell was an excellent performer and Tracy, Roger & Charlie did an excellent job to play the music. Guy Schwartz of the New Jack Hippies (Roger's other band) also got on stage to complete this improvised line-up. They didn'T play many songs but each of them was a very long jam with Guy, Roger, Charlie and mostly Tracy trading solo's and Mr. Bell being great at singing and entertaining the crowd. So that was an unexpected set for them, they had already their equipment packed and ready to leave for the evening gig but they had to set up the stage again for a bonus gig. People were really happy to see our 3 heros back on stage!

Then we immediately drove to Clear Lake TX for the gig at Bojangles, Tracy had only 10 minutes to go home to take a shower, put some new clothes on and have a burger and then she was on stage for another LONG SHOW from 9h45 to 2am! The show in Seabrook was just great, amazingly Tracy could still play for a good 3 hours after this long afternoon of performing. And also, this place was PACKED! So everyone enjoyed it.

In short it was a great day for Tracy and the band they had great crowds at both places, The privilege to play for Archie Bell and she made hundreds of fans happy in the clubs and on the radio. Amazing Saturday! Of course this Sunday Tracy felt a little tired but nobody could blame her! She'll be back with kicking ass with energy on the next gig, Tracy is amazing!!!!!!
