Tracy started playing a little after 10h00pm for a long first set that went by so fast. To summarize the whole thing: she just kicked ass! It was wonderful to see her play some legendary blues tunes like "Red House" or "The Thrill is Gone" (superb superb version by the way). I was also very happy that she played "Garden of Color", I just love that song. She concluded this set with "Bye Bye Baby" which was great too.

During the break I had to tell her she was just so amazing, so I did, and I couldn't believe her reaction, she was like "No way, this is terrible, terrible!" She said she couldn't hear her voice or the band well and she seemed convinced that she show sucked. But it was really great.

Then the second set started with a wonderful version of "There for me". And if the first set was great, the second set was even better, things seemed to work better for Tracy and she looked more happy about it and kept playing louder and louder. Wonderful show that ended just before 2h00am. Tracy delivered an amazing performance even if there was not so many people there, which was sad, because artists like that should play in front of huge crowds. But the lucky bastards who were there, like me, enjoyed a killer show and they're not about to forget it.
I also have to mention the hard work of the band for that show: Charlie Fountain and Roger Tausz backed up Tracy on drums and bass, solid performance. By the way they had some pictures, CDs and t-shirts for sale at the show, I bought one of each of course. So look for that cool merchandise at the next shows.

After the concert I was able to talk more with Tracy and get another nice picture with her, then the bar closed so we talked outside for a while and after, we stopped to eat at a Houston restaurant with Tracy, her boyfriend and her manager, so it was very cool and it was a long night...
...And a short night of sleep! The next day we stopped to see Chris Bynum again and he gave us a CD. Thank you! Then, the cool part, we stopped at Tracy's place, she had a bunch of old tapes for us, including some with her playing, I can't wait to hear that. She was really nice once again and she always seem to have interesting stuff to talk about, like the first time she ever performed live, that was funny! It was also great to hear her tell us some stuff about Stevie Ray Vaughan, you can tell that she really loves Stevie and the blues; well who doesn't?! But you can feel it's a passion for her and that's just great. A big thank you to Tracy and her boyfriend for the warm welcome!
So it was a great weekend and I just can't wait to see her live again.
