Tracy Conover live at the Deep Ellum Blues, Dallas, TX, September 24th, 2004.

Finally Tracy's first 'real' show at the Deep Ellum Blues, and that was a great one. Everybody in the house had an amazing good time and are looking forward to see Tracy play there again. First I have to say some good words about the opening band: Soulville from Ft.Worth, they were excellent and their guitarist really impressed me. He also wore a SRV shirt and seemed to really like Tracy's show too so he's cool. Their original songs were very good and they pleased the crowd with some great covers too, "hey joe" and "red house" were particularly good.

Now Tracy just kicked ass last night. I dont remember what time she started but she played until almost 2h30am! She did a wonderful job on Little Wing. Roger Tausz wasn't there on bass because his brother just died unfortunately, so I'd like to send my condolences to Roger and his family, that's really sad. But Leland Parks (http://community-2.webtv.net/lelandonlake/THEBASS/) replaced him on bass and he did a really excellent job, he's a very nice guy too. Tracy let them jam for a while on "thrill is gone" and that was really a great moment. Too bad nobody recorded that. I gave Tracy the newest DVD of Stevie Ray Vaughan live at Montreux and we watched some of that until 6am! Very long night but very fun! So many thanks to Tracy and the band.

By the way, yes, it's true, Tracy really does sleep with her guitar!

Two flashes flashing at the same exact moment, that's rather unusual!
