This Saturday Tracy was playing at Bourbon Street Bar & Grill in College Station, TX. The problem is that Houston and L.A. were also playing basketball that night. Maybe Tracy would have been more lucky if she brought a basket ball & running shoes instead of a guitar that night...
The game was being projected on a big screen where the stage was and the manager of the bar decided to let the game finish before Tracy and her band could go on stage and play. And the stupid game didn't end until 12h30am!! So of course a lot of people who showed up there to see Tracy Conover left early and unhappy. Tracy felt sorry about all that but of course there was nothing she could do about it and she was a victim as much as her fans. When the game finally finished well there wasn't many people left in the bar and there wasn't much time left to play music. But at least those who had enough patience saw a nice shorter show and here's some pictures below.
But the attitude of the bar manager was pretty frustrating. It is very unprofessional for a bar to book a band, to advertise it on their website, and then to tell them and the people who came to see them "Why don't you wait until just before the bar closes because we have a basketball game on the screen now and it's more important than you". And there was TV's all over the place for those who wanted to watch sports, but only 1 stage... Next time will be better
