Every year the Chris Duarte Group have this cool "Family reunion" weekend thing in Eureka Spring, Arkansas, USA and this year is was March 12-14, 2004 at the Crescent Hotel. Chris Duarte is a phenomenal guitar player, you have to see him live to believe what this crazy animal can do with a guitar. Tracy Conover considers Duarte as her guitar hero and she was extremely happy to open for him on Saturday March 13th. Most of the crowd where die hard Chris Duarte fans travelling from all over the states to see that show and there is no doubt that Tracy Conover made them really happy with her performance, even if most of them haven't seen her before. She played a 1 hour set and it was really good. She was playing with Chris Duarte rythm section (Ed Miles on drums and John Jordan on bass) and these guys were pretty familiar with her music since they played on her studio CD that she sells at the shows and they had 2-3 rehearsals this week so everything was very well done by the band. Tracy Played most of the tracks from her CD + many great other songs (I should have left you, The Thrill is Gone, Goin' Down... and also her great new tune "Addiction"). I'm glad (but not surprised) that these Duarte fans were thrilled by her performance.

Then Chris Duarte came on, with his Ovation accoustic guitar and he played for like 2h30min non stop! Tracy sat on the side of the stage and she was totally amazed by his performance, and I was too! He was incredible. I learned that Tracy will play a set tonight (March 14th) but unfortunately I couldn't stay for that one, feel free to contact me if you have any recording/pictures from that show.
