(This is
just my little page about Slash's Snakepit but it's NOTHING compared to the
ultimate Slash site: Linda's SLASH site.
It's the page i visit the most and it's always updating. It's THE place to go to
learn everything about Slash and all the recent news & facts.
Ain't life Grand?

That
is the title of the new Slash's Snakepit album. "Ain't life grand?" It came out
in October 2000 and it's one of the best albums i've heard! Very high quality
music, close to the GNR perfection, great band, great guitars, you'll love it.
A Cool Slash Quote about the new Slash's Snakepit
album:
"The Snakepit record's not like what everybody
else is doing, I don't know what the fuck everybody else is doing anymore -- it
all sounds like shit to me. But as far as rock & roll music is concerned, it
kicks ass."
Now that we heard the album, we have the proof that Slash was
right. Slash is currently on tour to promote this album so make sure to see
Snakepit if they stop to play near you.
Update Febuary 2002: It looks like Slash will put the 'snakepit' project on the ice for a moment, he will work on a solo album this year.

The first Slash's Snakepit first album is called: "It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere", it
was released in 1995. And this is an EXCELLENT album, if you like Slash's music
with Guns N' Roses, you should love this album. The new album will be extremely
solid and great! One thing is sure: With slash there is only one thing possible:
real rock n' roll!!!!!! From the songs i heard so far, it's a wonderful
CD that the Slash man is going to release.
And Slash is not the only Guns N' Roses member on this first album, Matt
Sorum, Gilby Clarke and Dizzy Reed also play on this album. And Duff McKagan
wrote a song with them, one of the best song of the album.
But the 1999 Snakepit line-up is totally different with a new (and better!)
singer (Rod Jackson), a new bassist (Johnny G (or Johnny Blackout... Let's call
him Johnny alright?!), a new rythm guitarist and a new drummer! Only Slash is
still there (he! of course!). Slash's old friend Teddy Zig Zag will also be on
the album.
Current Line-up of Slash's Snakepit:
SLASH, of course on lead guitars
Rod Jackson, on vocals
Keri Kelli, on
rythm guitars (Email: kerikelli@hotmail.com)
Matt Laug, on drums
Johnny
G., on bass guitar
